Kenya Prisons secured a comfortable in the 5th-6th place classification match at the 2025 Women’s African Volleyball Club Championship following a commanding straight-sets victory over Cameroon’s Litto Team in Match 45 on Friday.
The Kenyan side displayed superior teamwork and tactical discipline to sweep the match 3-0 (25-18, 25-14, 25-16) at the Indoor Sports Hall (Package B) in Abuja.
From the first whistle, Kenya Prisons established dominance at the net with solid blocking and quick transitions. Despite moments of resistance from the Cameroonian side, the Prisons’ consistency and power play proved too much for Litto Team, who struggled to find rhythm throughout the match.
The 2025 edition of the Women’s African Volleyball Club Championship continues to showcase high-level competition and rising talent across the continent, with Kenya Prisons reaffirming their status as one of Africa’s top volleyball outfits.
