Kenya Pipeline Company (KPC) exacted sweet revenge on APR of Rwanda with a dominant straight-sets victory (25-21, 25-17, 25-14) in the quarterfinals of the 2025 Women’s African Volleyball Championship. The emphatic win not only avenged their recent loss to APR in the Zone 5 final but also secured KPC a coveted spot in the semifinals.
The opening set was a tightly contested affair as both teams exchanged powerful spikes and solid blocks. APR started strong with effective swipes, but KPC gradually found cracks in their opponent’s defense. With consistent pressure and composure, KPC edged out APR 25-21.
In the second set, KPC turned up the intensity. Their revitalized offense overwhelmed APR, who struggled to keep up with the pace and precision of their opponents.
