The Youth Sports Federation of Nigeria (YSFON) announced plans for a special football tournament to celebrate its 60th anniversary. Zonal teams from across Nigeria will compete in a week-long event designed to showcase youth talent and encourage grassroots development in football.
YSFON officials noted that the tournament is also a platform for identifying promising young players who could be considered for national youth teams. The anniversary celebration includes awards and recognition for past contributors to youth sports in Nigeria.
