The Super Falcons will play two high-profile friendlies against Ghana and Cameroon at the Moshood Abiola National Stadium later this month, the Nigeria Football Federation has confirmed.
Coach Randy Waldrum said the matches are crucial preparation for the 2025 Women’s Africa Cup of Nations (WAFCON).
“We need competitive games against strong opponents. Ghana and Cameroon will give us exactly that,” Waldrum stated.
The games are expected to attract large crowds. Tickets go on sale next week. Fans are already buzzing at the prospect of watching Asisat Oshoala and co. in action on home soil.
