Finalists have emerged at the ongoing 2026 President Beach Volleyball Tournament, with the competition reaching its decisive stage at the Murtala Mohammed Square Beach Courts.
In the men’s category, Savannah Spikers will face Kano Pillars in what promises to be a thrilling final showdown. In the women’s final, Kada Emeralds are set to battle Anista for top honours.
The finalists secured their places following intense semi-final clashes concluded on Monday.
In the first women’s semi-final, Anista edged Katsina 2–1 in a tightly contested encounter. The opening set ended 23–21 in favour of Anista, before Katsina responded with a 22–20 win in the second set. However, Anista dominated the decisive third set 15–6 to book their place in the final.
Kada Emeralds, in the second women’s semi-final, delivered a commanding performance against Adamawa Spikers, winning in straight sets (2–0). The first set finished 21–17, while the second ended 21–12.
In the men’s category, Kano Pillars I defeated Akapson VC 2–1 to advance to the final. Kano Pillars took the first set convincingly at 21–6, dropped the second 16–21, but bounced back strongly to seal the deciding set 15–4.
Savannah Spikers secured their final ticket after overcoming Dynamite VC 2–1. The first set ended 21–19 in their favour, Dynamite VC claimed the second set 21–18, but Savannah Spikers closed out the contest with a 15–6 victory in the third set.
The finals of the 2026 President Beach Volleyball Tournament are scheduled to hold on Tuesday, February 17, 2026, at the Murtala Mohammed Square Beach Courts.
