CNS Spikers and Nigeria Customs Service Volleyball Club emerged as champions in the 2025 Nigeria Volleyball Federation (NVBF) Super Cup held in Abuja. The competition brought together the country’s elite volleyball clubs in a champions‑only tournament at the MKO Abiola National Stadium.
In the men’s final, CNS Spikers overcame Nigeria Customs Service 3–1, bouncing back after losing the opening set to secure the title with set scores of 21–25, 25–18, 25–23, 25–17. The victory demonstrated CNS’s tactical resilience and attacking prowess.
In the women’s event, Nigeria Customs Service dominated COAS Spikers, winning 3–0 (25–8, 25–15, 25–10) to claim the championship with an emphatic display of service strength, fast transitions, and defensive discipline.
Earlier in the competition, Nigeria Correctional Service secured third place in the men’s category by defeating Defence Spikers 3–1, while in the women’s third‑place match CNS Spikers edged Vipers Spikers 3–2 in a tightly contested five‑set battle.
The NVBF Super Cup, held from January 30 to February 8, 2025, showcased high‑quality volleyball and reinforced the competitive standards of Nigerian club volleyball. With 12 clubs participating across both men’s and women’s categories, the event served as a key platform for talent development and national team scouting ahead of continental competitions.
