Nigeria participated in the 2025 African Badminton Championships held in Douala, Cameroon, showcasing its elite athletes in singles, doubles, and mixed events. Nigerian shuttlers, including Anuoluwapo Opeyori, performed impressively, securing medals and enhancing the nation’s standing in continental badminton.
The championship also provided an opportunity for young Nigerian athletes to gain experience competing at high-level continental events, furthering development programs coordinated by the Nigeria Badminton Federation.
