The Sports Writers Association of Nigeria (SWAN) publicly lauded the Super Falcons for their historic 10th WAFCON victory. The association also recognized the coaching staff’s strategic planning and lauded Nigeria’s sports journalists for comprehensive coverage, which increased fan engagement and visibility for women’s football in Africa.
