The Nigeria Basketball Federation (NBBF) has unveiled a 20-woman preliminary squad for the D’Tigress AfroBasket 2025 campaign, as preparations officially begin for the highly anticipated tournament in Abidjan, Côte d’Ivoire.
The list features a strong mix of experienced internationals and rising stars, as head coach Rena Wakama aims to reclaim Nigeria’s dominance in African women’s basketball.
