Ikorodu City maintained their impressive home form with a dramatic 2–2 draw against Enyimba in a thrilling Nigeria Premier Football League encounter at the Mobolaji Johnson Arena.
The Oga Boys were dominant in the opening half, controlling possession and creating the clearer chances. Their persistence paid off in the 40th minute when they broke the deadlock to carry a deserved 1–0 advantage into halftime.
Enyimba returned from the break with renewed intensity. Mujeeb Odufeso levelled the score in the 67th minute, shifting momentum in favour of the visitors. Eight minutes later, the People’s Elephants completed the turnaround, taking a 2–1 lead and appearing set for a rare away victory.
However, Ikorodu City refused to yield. Backed by their passionate home support, the hosts pushed forward relentlessly and were rewarded in stoppage time with a crucial equaliser that sparked wild celebrations.
